About Me

My name is Susan and I'm a regular mom who discovered in her .. umm - later in life that I like crafty stuff.

I am now happily remarried to my own version of 'Peetra". I have 3 children, plus one stillborn son in my heart always. A 'rescued' Siberian Husky named Oliver, Saved Luna Fish & feeder to many birds in the area ;)

A Multiple Sclerosis Diagnosis in 2012 put me behind in my crafting blog but I am so much better and intend to get this back going. Thanks for the support crafters!

I finished setting up the facebook group and got that contest going. Whew! Almost done my July Newsletter; just a tad late there! ... I have such a fun program to use for my newsletters. Its called Microsoft publisher 2007 and I highly recommend it for those of you that need to do newsletters. I got it last year and was just able to jump right in to use it. Which is something I like to do..

If you're like me and don't always have the patience to sit down and read instructions.. You really should look into the level one kits that Close to My Heart sells. The pages are preprinted and formatted so you know what sizes to print or crop your pictures. Where to add them; how to embellish them with the MY Stick ease stickers.

Red ~ my mentor~ and I watched at my 'almost' 12 yr old daughter put together a level one kit all by herself with 4 pages, plus an extra one she made up and 2 cards... in about an hour. They look beautiful! There are more pictures on my ctmh website. She very much enjoyed herself!

If your just thinking about trying Scrapbooking.. Look thru those kits and just TRY one! Contact me for some help! They really are beautiful; oh and if you order online...check out the discounted products you cannot get at gatherings. Click here.

I'll going to try to see how I can add my newsletters here as well. If not I'll just add the tips and info on regular posts... must. finish. newsletter and stay away from the pool!!

  1. I have to admit... I don't know how I feel about being called the 'mentor' - I feel like it's such a misnomer as I've done like, NOTHING to help you! hahaha You're doing fantastic all by yourself!! :)

Can't wait to see what sorts of fun things you put up on here! :D
